About
EURAXESS Bridgehead of Hungary, Bay Zoltán Nonprofit Ltd and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office jointly invite you to the HR Strategy for Researchers Workshop to be held at the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (1077 Budapest, Kéthly Anna tér 1.) on 23 February 2018.
The "HR Excellence in Research" award gives public recognition to research institutions that have made progress in aligning their human resource policies with the principles set out in the "European Charter & Code for Researchers". To date, almost 1000 European universities and research organisations have endorsed the principles of the Charter & Code, while more than 400 organisations use the "HR Excellence in Research" award. Institutions that have been granted the right to use the award can use it to highlight their commitment to implement fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures for researchers.
The workshop will offer a general overview of both the Charter & Code and the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. It will also detail the implementation process and will explain the benefits and impact for both institutions and researchers. In addition, examples to follow and good practices are also to be introduced. Presentations are planned to be interactive and will be followed by a specific Q and A session with all the speakers to make sure participants can get answers to all their questions.
This workshop is recommended both to institutions just wishing to understand the Charter and Code in more depth and to those which are set to start the implementation of the HR Strategy for Researchers.
Please note that registration is mandatory and should be done by 16 February2018. The language of the workshop will be English.
Location: NKFIH, Budapest, 1077, Kéthly Anna tér 1., 2nd floor, room 231
