Research at MedILS will be mentored by prof. Miroslav Radman, one of the world leaders in DNA repair and the biology of aging. To be the right candidate, you need to have experience working with cell cultures, have experience in imaging, at least one first-author publication and good communication skills in English.   

 

Postdoctoral position in Biology of Aging

This strongly application-oriented research position is an integral part of interdisciplinary research activities unifying design and verification of innovative nanosensors and their use for in-vivo detection of protein damage at MedILS. This project relates also to the fundamental question whether protein damage underlines aging and age-related diseases.

The initial appointment will be for one year with possibility of extension for up to 4 years.

Postdoctoral position in Cellular Communication Research

We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher with strong background in cell biology and molecular biology for a long term research project on cellular communication. The project is on biology of ageing and age-related diseases, in particular the aspect of latency in phenotypic expression of such diseases linked to inflammation.

The initial appointment will be for one year with possibility of extension for up to 4 years.
